The author, a former NYC police officer, designed the GRANDPA HENRY books around a 'wise elder' character who assists children in making their highest and best choices. In THE MYSTERY OF THE ROCK, Grandpa Henry encounters bickering siblings and has them exchange sneakers in order to fully experience "walking in the other guy's shoes". The sage grandfather encourages them to investigate the other's point of view with astounding results. This book has been read to over 2000 Florida schoolchildren since its creation in 1998.
