Since the age of ten years old, I have constantly criticized my body, my skin, and my face. With the continuous growth of the Korean entertainment industry, I wanted to address the dangers that come with the exciting and glamorous side of Korea. Rather than to condemn South Korea, this book is a call to action for societal shifts, embracing diversity, and fostering environments that nurture self-love and acceptance. The toxic beauty standards in Korea may be deeply ingrained, but they are not insurmountable
