People call me J.R., but that is just a nickname. My full name is Arnaldo Ramirez III. I have lived in South Texas all my life. I have lived quite the life, and chronical them in my memoirs. I maintain a sense of purpose and fulfillment in my writing. My current book, or memoir I wrote, is called Fish till You Drop. My stories about fishing or trying to fish. I tell stories about my life growing up, then working in a concert hall my father owned. You won’t believe the stories. From elementary to high school, 1983 to 1991, to my crazy Animal House stories when I was in college. Then a few stories post college. I am a determined author who reflects on past experiences since my progressive MS diagnosis in 2012. I was 39 years old. My commitment to writing encourages individuals facing their own struggles to seek out avenues for self-expression and reflection, highlighting the therapeutic power of storytelling as a means of processing life’s complexities.
