The Adventure of the Three Students

This story takes place in 1895. Watson and Sherlock Holmes are in a university town, apparently because the detective is conducting an investigation of English history. A university professor asks them for help because tomorrow the students are going to take an admission exam for a scholarship, which consists of translating an original text of a Greek historian, and it seems that someone came to his room, saw and copied it. Sherlock Holmes questions the servant and goes to talk to the three students and check their rooms, which are located above the professor's room. The first is Gilchrist, who is the son of a nobleman who fell from grace, the second is Daulat Ras, an Indian, and the third, Miles McLaren, doesn´t open the door. The detective goes out to reflect and the next day he is sure that the case is solved.
