Food and weight gain were always something Yaya obsessed over from a young age. He loved how it made him feel. He enjoyed pushing the limits and seeing how much drink and food he could consume before getting sick, only to recover and do it again. He also enjoyed watching others stuff themselves and people feed their pudgy, obese lovers until someone got sick or erupted into a belching frenzy. Yaya’s family was naturally overweight, but they didn’t have fondness for fatness and becoming fatter like he did. His disgusting fetish eventually turned into a lifestyle. One that Yaya’s family couldn’t afford to upkeep, so they kicked him out of the house and told him if he wanted to stuff himself, he could do it, but not under their roof. As Yaya sought work to make money, he caught the attention of a chubby man in a tavern. This man had heard of Yaya’s eating habits and offered him a haven at Laimargía’s temple. The moment Yaya entered the temple and saw the Raga Of Gluttony, Yaya knew he had found his forever home. He quickly adapted, learned what Laimargía wanted from a follower and simply did it. Laimargía watched Yaya go from obese to dangerously obese blob of fat.
He should have died, but to everyone’s shock, Yaya continued to live on. What impressed Laimargía the most was Yaya’s mobility. Yaya could still walk around and live a normal life despite his hefty appearance and hadn’t developed any life-threatening illness that usually came with weight gain. As a reward for his efforts and his strange ability to defy the odds, Laimargía helped Yaya become the Zahr of Coaybay when the reigning Zahr passed away. Yaya was thrilled and quickly abolished the laws of Griffin the former Zahr had established and built a shrine and a graven image of Laimargía to honor his Raga in the very tabernacle the citizens gathered around to give praise and worship to Griffin. Laimargía had several shrines across Hyrim, but none could compare to the shrine in Coaybay Clemall. He abode there and with the help of his faithful and dedicated servant, Yaya, Laimargía had high plans to make all the citizens of the newly renamed capital city, Nekrós, helpless gluttons. Those who disagreed could either leave or pay the fine to live healthy.
