Welcome to the ASF 2025 Calendar! A tortoise that makes an incredible trek up a cliff, a lizard that runs on its hind legs to chase prey, and many different (and colorful) snakes...inside are the photos that received the most votes in our first herpetology photo contest. The final result is this twelve month calendar with incredible photos and information about each reptile! Did you know that snakebite is a health crisis in many countries? The World Health Organization considers snakebite to be a neglected tropical disease, and lists antivenoms as essential medicines. Completely volunteer-run, the Asclepius Snakebite Foundation (ASF) is an international nonprofit dedicated to helping victims of snakebite. All proceeds from this calendar are being used to support that mission. We purchase antivenoms and medical supplies, train local medical staff, perform community outreach, and conduct research into snakes and their venoms.
