1939-1945 War Services of Ranks of the Artists Rifles

This publication is a record of the war services of men who served in the ranks of the Artists Rifles when embodied or called up for active service by 2 September 1939. Majority were awarded emergency commissions but others were transferred to other regiments or corps. Some remained with the newly formed 163rd (Artists) OCTU.
