Parables of the Real World

Jesus often taught using entertaining stories to speak to large crowds, submitting that "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand." He told his disciples "...all have been given the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven." With the help of the Holy Spirit, we gain understanding of biblical principles as we live out our faith every day. "Happy are we, and forever indebted to free grace, if the same thing that is a parable to others, with which they are only amused, is a plain truth to us, by which we are taught and governed."
