Jayne is a limited edition hardbound title published in a petite bespoke print run. This charming little book will not be available in bookstores (neither online or instore), you have landed at the only participating webstore.
It has been my intention to create a fitting tribute for Jayne Mansfield that is unique, highly collectible & coveted, a book that is unlike any of the high print run publications that have come before.
Jayne features new and interesting information on the life of our favourite blonde bombshell, previously unpublished in a mainstream biography.
Included for the first time :
-Ancestry / Family Heritage
-A closer look at the life of her parents during the early 20th century
-A contrasting account of Jayne’s early upbringing as retold by both Jayne and her Mother, Vera, stemming from interviews partaken during the mid-to-late 1950’s as well as original newspaper reports from Dallas in the 1940’s and early 50’s.
-Biographies (both ‘short & sweet’ and ‘long & abounding’) of her most predominant boyfriends & husbands including;
Paul Mansfield
Robbie Robertson
Nicolas Ray
Mickey Hargitay
Enrico Bomba
Nelson Sardelli
Matt Cimber
Sam Brody
-A deep & thrilling glimpse into her tantalizing home known as The Pink Palace. With a scrapbook-like layout giving readers an in-depth peek at the interior design & architecture of one of Hollywood’s most well known and sadly missed homes of all time.
-A glance into Jayne’s family legacy. Including;
Life after Jayne for Mickey Hargitay, Matt Cimber and Harry & Vera Peers
What happened to her five children?
What is the legacy Jayne left behind for the world?
How did she influence pop culture?
How is her presence felt on the world today?
The book comes peppered with Jayne’s most beautiful & well known publicity images together with editorial press photos as well as rare and unseen candid snapshots.
Jayne is a unique collectors edition with years of love and research backed behind it.
