A Charm of Finches

The Finches Independant School is a large country house set in woodland and peaceful gardens all behind its high wall and slowly it reveals its long and troubled history. Over the centuries many things have happened on the estate and all have left their imprint. The Elizabethan sea captain who built the original house was said to have hidden there a great secret, a merchant who later bought the estate was not quite as respectable as first thought and a tragedy in 1937 may not have been an accident. During World War Two something very special may have happened at the The Finches but what does that have to do with the ancient Finches Secret and why does time itself seem such a flexible thing within the estate?
