Urban Educator Journal

As educators, we have a tremendous responsibility. If allowed, this responsibility can be overwhelming. As a collective group, educators in urban areas share a common bond. The students we teach on a daily basis need much more than what’s offered in the classroom. We have to be teachers, doctors, counselors, attorneys, advisors, a friend and sometimes a parent to our students because we are committed to helping students be successful in all areas of their lives.
