It explores the origins of the conflict between the Women of the East and West. Beginning with the Annihilation of Men by the Supreme Mother, the Creator Goddess of the world, now the women of the world find themselves fighting each other for power and dominance - the kingdoms of the Occident and Orient in particular. In this first story, two messenger women, Margaret of the Lancastrian Kingdom and Huang Lan of the Ming Dynasty face off, with the aim of delivering a message to their rival's Queen that theirs is superior.
