The Fires of Paradox

Born into a prophecy, Briana has no say in the matter. All she wants is a normal life... but instead she is forced to flee from a vindictive witch-hunter, has to live in a chicken-house while she learns how to use her Gift, and survive all the usual teenage problems before having to return to the village that cast her out, taking her place there as their new Healer. She falls head over heels for a man who also possesses the Gift, but little does she know that he is not what he appears to be.
