Thoughts of My Inner City: An Autobi-oetry

B. Wilder, a 25 year old Atlanta native has been writing and reading poetry for over 15 years. A style familiar to that of her literary muses’ Maya Angelou and Nikki Giovanni, she introduces a collection of syncopated and sometimes abrupt tempo pieces. You’ll find a variety of poetic styles in Thoughts of My Inner City, which chronicles her “short” yet eventful journey. Though sometimes gripping and graphic, "Thoughts of My Inner City" emerges as a unified ode to life, love and peace. As well as a poet, she serves as mentor and motivational speaker to struggling teens and children, is an active member of her church and a community servant.
