God of the Bible - God of the Church

“And they said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?” Have you ever read a book, heard a sermon, or watched a program on Christian television and wondered if they were talking about the same Jesus? Sure, they quoted the same source but somehow you were left perplexed by all of the contradictions. I have. And even more so as the events of this world reveal that the time of His return is rapidly approaching. But God, in His infinite Grace, through Jesus Christ, has already endowed us with the ability to develop our spiritual discernment whereby we are able to resist the enticing words of the counterfeit christs. We must simply use the tools that He has given us to destroy those words designed to lead us contrary to the true and living Way and our destiny of victory in Him. Where do we find these tools? In His Word. Let us return to God’s Holy Word, examine the signs of our time, and ask along with Peter, “Lord, is that You?” Let us hear Him.
