A Bed of Whit Orchids A meeting in Oxford was to set the scene for just the incarnation of a new sect. It was the beginning of a fight as to who would inherit the English Throne. The white orchids favoured a monarch who would lead them back to their true faith. A French queen was to be their standard. These men were peers of the realm men who danced to the tune of Henry Tudor a merciless king and worse still to their minds an heretic. The orchid's lived in fear so much so that they had code books without names; only numbers. Even the curriers who carried messages could not identify the members of this evil sect and so when a code book goes missing and a young boy witnesses a murder the demons of Hell are let loose. Thomas Cockroft has seen the faces of the men who killed his parents and so he must be found before he sends the members of the White Orchids to the scaffold.
