In today’s flatter world, compared to previous ones, contemporary for profit organizations are different. At least six characteristics mark this type of organizations, i.e.: First, these organizations are more complex than ever. Second, they consist of more diverse members. Third, these organizations introduce new systems more frequently. Fourth, all of these organizations struggle for improving competitiveness. Fifth, they choose to focus more on customers’ needs. Sixth, many of them are inventing the new way to approach the flatter world.
