Book 4, The Battle of Carentan, is the fourth and final book in the tetralogy. It chronicles the horror on the Causeway and the action for which Lt. Col. Robert Cole was awarded the Medal of Honor. It also covers the capture of Carentan and the counter attack by the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division.
