Summer, 1968. Tim Tanerstein had an opportunity, and, without an ounce of reluctance, he took it. He built the largest house anyone in the sleepy town of McCall, Iowa had ever seen. However, after a grand party to celebrate the house, he held the crowd at gunpoint and threatened them off the premises, proceeding to lock himself inside the house for the rest of his life.
Across time, three people are compelled and led to the now abandoned manor, a shell of what it once was. What they find inside is a home left in a cold and emotionless state. As they go deeper into the manor, they find themselves spiraling into a world of madness and supernatural powers beyond all belief. They begin to wonder why the house was built. Was it built to hold an unstable and broken man, or was it built to hold a force far more powerful than the world could ever contain?
