This memoir is a collection of several short travel memoirs that Bernard Catalinotto wrote in Diane Frank’s creative writing courses at OLLI San Francisco State and OLLI Dominican College, Flash Fiction and Memoir. It includes travel by car, bus, boat and hitchhiking from Kuwait to Paris and by plane back to the United States. A portion of the sections set in Sicily, “Sicily Excursion 1965,” was published in the online literary magazine, Vistas and Byways, by OLLI San Francisco State University in Spring, 2021.
