Divorced, disgraced, and shunned by wife, family and friends; and with his promising career with the US Government gone sideways; Gavin Talbot accepts the position as Head of the Visa Department in the American Consulate in far off Chennai. But if he thought the setbacks he had brought upon himself were over he was about to be disappointed when, after taking on a live-in housekeeper in his rented beachside home, he finds himself unfathomably obsessed with his unprepossessing domestic. Together with the legs and feet that are anything but unprepossessing! His new and bewildering fixation becoming more and more embedded, when the involvement of his housekeeper's older female mentor from her Temple ensures that what he thought what had been agreed as a simple and reciprocal role-play, between himself and his slightly younger domestic, becomes something far more serious. Serious enough anyway, to see him quit his position at the US Consulate and swap roles completely with the matronly and slightly younger Indian woman obsessing him. A swap he is not to know will NEVER find itself reversed!  Mr Schuster brings us a work of female-led fantasy that is all the more potent for being utterly believable.
