Life over the centuries is hard to imagine, save for the imposition of images that are brought to life through literature, art and history. Without them, we are left to conceptualize events through our varied lenses to the past.
There are little archived facts about the Lucayan Indians, The Bahamas' earliest settlers. Notwithstanding the preceding, after her historical research, Mrs. Beryl Strachan gives us, through story, art, an imaginative and creative yet realistic anachronism, the way of life of these people.
Using her natural skills, Mrs. Strachan has beautifully transposed her perception by way of Arame the Lucayan.
