Remembrances of a Life

This booklet comes from a recently rediscovered manuscript. It is a brief autobiographical account of my husband's grandmother. It was dictated by her in her last days and recounts how she came from Sweden as a small girl and lived in north Minneapolis. Her hard work and frugality are captured as she grew up and married a young man who came from similar humble beginnings. She died before finishing it in 1949.
