Radhika became frightened and was trying to chase them away but they kept coming back and humming there. In the meantime Madhumangala came and saw this. He took his stick and he anyhow drove that bee very far away. When he returned he said, ‘Madhusudana has gone. I have driven him away and he cannot come back.’ Srimati Radhika heard this as She was sitting in the lap of Krsna. Krsna was caressing Radhika but at once She forgot She was there in the lap of Krsna. She began to weep, ‘O Madhusudana, where have You gone? When will You come back? Otherwise, I will die.’ Like this She became senseless in a mood of separation. Krsna was thinking, ‘What to do? How to pacify Her?’ He could not pacify Her. So Rohini maiya was explaining so many things, so many things, and Krsna, Baladeva, and Subhadra were at the door hearing all of this. Hearing these things, Krsna became so attached and so absorbed that His heart began to melt. By hearing this, love and affection came in such a high way that His fingers melted in love and affection, like water. His legs also. It was all melted. His beautiful face was also melting and His eyes became very big. Then later Narada asked for a boon that this form of Krsna will manifest in this world and be worshiped. This is one of the reasons that Jagannatha manifested in this way.” Srila Gurudeva - England 14 July 1999
