We are worshiping Him in the temple, or in our homes, or any altar, giving flowers, arati, offering preparations, and worshiping Him in so many ways. Doing dandavat pranamas so many times, doing parikrama of the temple, but it may be that our motive is something else. What might our motive be? We may have any motive like Dhruva or others. So Krsna is saying here, ‘If anyone is doing regulative bhakti, I may be satisfied to some extent, but not fully because they will do dandavat pranama and think, ‘Oh, He is the God of gods and I am so low and insignificant. I am an offender and all these things.’ So I will not be satisfied to the fullest extent.’ What does He want? He wants that any devotee should love Him as a worldly friend, or like a father or mother. Sometimes you can see that a father and mother or a grandfather or grandmother will play with their little boys like a friend, or more than a friend. Sometimes the gopis are playing with Krsna, defeating Him and being defeated by Him, playing like worldly relatives. Krsna wants this thing, love and affection like this. Those who are worshiping Me like brahma, I become brahma, nirvisesa. Those who want to serve Me as Narayana, I become Narayana for them. Those who want to serve Krsna in maryada, in rules and regulations, then I become Rama. When anyone wants to serve Me like a husband, then I become Dvarakadisa.
