On May 30th, Srila Gurudeva glorified the life and teachings of Srila Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada, saying, “Svamiji translated Caitanya-caritamrta. This is his glory. He translated Srimad-Bhagavatam. For whom? For him? To make money? Never. This is his glory. He wrote so many things. He has written Nectar of Instruction. You should go through this book very deeply and you will be astonished at what he has written. But I think only very rare persons read it. But he has left everything there. And if he was present, he would have produced so many more ‘Nectars.’ Nectars, nectars, nectars. So his glory is that he wanted to give this love to all. What love? Spontaneous love. And if they are not qualified, they should begin from regulative bhakti—chanting the holy name, distributing books, making cowsheds, and other things. “By this some impression will come and they will associate with Vaisnavas and then they will follow the process and they will advance. He never said that ‘You should make offenses to any Vaisnava’s lotus feet.’ Try to honor anyone, even if he is not our godbrother. But actually everyone is our godbrother. God is Krsna and we are all Krsna’s servant, so we are all brothers. No harm if our Gurudeva is different. But actually the mood of all the Gurus is the mood of Nityananda Prabhu, Baladeva Prabhu. And if he is not following, he is actually not Guru. Then we will have to change that Guru and come in the real process and we will have to accept any bona fide Guru. So these are the glories of Svamiji.”
