The words of Guru are my only hope. “What I have heard or what I hear, the words from Gurudeva, I will totally follow them. I have so much belief and faith in the words of Gurudeva and the words of Krsna in sastra. I know that if I will totally follow Gurudeva’s orders, then all my desires will be fulfilled. My Gurudeva’s order is the order of sastra, the order of Krsna, and the order of all Vaisnavas.” So, cittete koriya aikya. I am thinking that, “Everything that my Gurudeva is telling me is the same as what sastra and Krsna are saying and by following that, I will be successful in having krsna-prema. I don’t have any other hope. I only have hope and so much trust in my Gurudeva’s words, so I must follow them.” And what more? After that? Sri-guru-carane rati ei sei uttama-gati je prasade pure sarva asa. What does rati mean? Here rati means first sraddha, then initiation, doing so much bhajana, anarthas going away, nistha coming, then nistha will turn into ruci, and after ruci, asakti will come. Then after that, rati comes. This is referring to that kind of rati. So it is a very high thing. Sri-guru-carane rati ei sei uttama-gati.
