This book is the autobiography of Billy Franklin Baumann, April 7, 1923 - April 1, 2021. Filled with photographs, it tells the story of his earliest years in Knoxville, Tennesse; his high school years, especially with the Hiking Club; his service during World War II as a pilot; his marriage to Nancy and the birth of his three sons; his career as an aircraft designer; times with extended family; and the death of Nancy in 1999.
