The lifeboat station development project emerged during my last year of studies at London South Bank University, part of the BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering degree. I want to thank Laurel as well as all LSBU staff who made this journey enjoyable and rich in information. Challenging times lie ahead in terms of technological disruption and environmental challenges, so I always encourage everyone to challenge assumptions and always strive to find better solutions, more sustainable and more efficient.
