
This is the story of the two Kings of Ireland in the 19th century, Daniel O'Connell and Charles Bianconi. O'Connell was a hugely successful barrister turned politician who won for Ireland Emancipation for Catholics, while Bianconi was an Italian immigrant who built up the largest transport system in Europe in Ireland, opening the country up as never before.
