Brian Ellis and Necy Goco met in Singapore in 1966 for the former's language study and looking where to go for his missionary assignment. They began their missionary journey together in Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines, shortly after their wedding in April 1968. In 1977, they moved to Cubao, Quezon City and started a literature ministry of what is now The Evangelical Outreach, Inc. Then in 1979, the Lord providentially led them to establish Cubao Reformed Baptist Church, and then the Grace Ministerial Academy for the training of men for the ministry. In 1995, the Christian Compassion Ministries was founded, an orphanage for boys and girls, followed by the Drop-in-Center for the homeless or street people, sometime later. May all the glory be given to God who chooses people for the work of His grace.
