A Moonchild's Heart

The title of the debut poetry book from Bridgett Muckle, A Moonchild’s Heart, stems from her connection of being a Moonchild which is the zodiac sign for Cancer. The book delves into emotions of being lost in love, the world, and career on the Full Moon side through poems like “Invisible”, “Embers”, and “25 and not fine”. However, the New Moon side of the book recognizes the beauty of nature by stepping into new beginnings with poems like “Ocean”, “Words”, and “Kaleidoscope Rapture”. “Cantrell” and “Collete” highlight stories of Moonchildren enduring their own struggles and attempting to find love. The author poured her stain glass heart into her debut rejecting fear and embracing vulnerability.
