Poems of Memories

The poems in this book have been written over the years as I traveled around the world. They acted as my regular journal for my memories of the places I traveled, the people I interacted with, the unique experiences I found around the world, and most importantly, the lonely moments I experienced. The poems also depict my growth from a humble life in rural Western Kenya to a global citizen who traveled to study in four continents at different times namely Africa, Europe, Asia and North America. The poems also present my life and experiences as a professional working away from my country depicting the culture shocks experienced. The poems as well bring to the fore the relations with family and loved ones.
