Hamlet meets The Maltese Falcon in this comedy mash up about a hard boiled detective attempting to solve the murder of the Danish King in a tale of murder, lust, greed, duplicity, greed, kidnapping, a duel to the death and even more lust. Along the way our hero Dick Shamus gets entangled in a web of suspects including the dead king's live wire widow; her new husband and former brother-in-law; a femme fatale by the name of Ophelia; and her avenge seeking brother. Throw a very annoying ghost into the mix, not to mention an ambivalent Prince Hamlet, who would rather direct his play than avenge his father's murder and you have all the elements for a rollicking comedy that will keep your audience laughing from the opening curtain.
