As someone who is at the crossroads regarding religious belief, or not, I'd say this book has blown away the cobwebs. I knew there was some bad stuff in the Bible but I had no idea how much. This is not a perfect book by any means - too many quotations and badly laid out - but apart from that it serves as a useful reference book for anyone seeking answers to questions about sex, horror, crime, cruelty and violence in the Bible. It's all there, just check the index and you'll go straight to it. As for the illustrations - very disturbing but were they really necessary?

I saw this book promoted on Facebook and I have to say it's worth every penny. The author is clearly not a professional writer but he certainly knows his Bible. He has unearthed details that escape the attention of most Bible critics and then he has illustrated them in the most memorable fashion. I'm docking one star because of the numerous typos. Warning - keep this book out of reach of children because it will give them nightmares!

I've read a lot of books on this topic but this one is by far and away the best. Why is it the best? Because it lists all the bible atrocities, absurdities and contradictions in easy to follow separate chapters - a bit like The Bible Handbook - but this book includes brilliant art work, pretty gruesome but so is the bible. I spotted a few grammatical errors but that didn't spoil it for me. This is a brilliant reference book. Whatever you want to find, it's here.

Scary stuff! I've found this book an asset when speaking in public about Christianity. Whenever I get challenged to prove my point I simply check the index of The Little Red Bible Book and straight away I can find the Bible reference I'm seeking. The drawings are amazing. They highlight the atrociy and the sickness of the Bible and leave one in no doubt that there is nothing 'holy'about it. I'm buying copies of The Little Red Bible Book for my family, most of whom are dickhead Christians.

This is not a perfect book. It contains several production errors. Small things like inappropriate fonts. Were it not for that I would have awarded it five stars. As for the content, absolutely mind-blowing. I've read dozens of books exposing Christianity as a fraud but none do it so well and so effectively as The Little Red Bible Book. Eveything you wanted to know and everything you'd rather you didn't know can be found within its pages. I love the illustrations. Someone went to an enormouse amount of trouble to make this book both shocking and enjoyable.
