Sharita Dell, Mystical Crime Fighter and the Haunting of MacGyver Motors

Thirteen-year-old Sharita Dell has three best friends: Jaylee, Em and Mercedes. Sharita is white, Jaylee is Jewish, Em is Indonesian, and Mercedes is black. They are friendly, funny, and happy to be together. When Pip purchases The MacGyver Motors Building, Sharita confides that most tenants do not last long. "Why not?" Mercedes asked her. "Because it's haunted." This tickles Mercedes; there is almost always a 'visitor' in Sharita's attic. A vigilante is on the loose. When Garrett and Sherman try to speak with a belligerent cowboy, they find themselves in a bewildering situation.
