Within the first moments of life our souls begin a long, solitary road with many twists, turns, and obstacles. Many times these obstacles may be conquered head on, but on a slight few occasions, what seems like a small hill up ahead becomes insurmountable. Once we begin to walk forward and climb, the hill becomes too steep and we must stop at a crossroad, sit very still for a moment, and make an alternative plan of action:
left, right, or forward on?
These certain times in our lives come in the form of realization to questions deep within our subconscious:
who, what, when, where, and why am I?
These are questions everyone must at some point answer before continuing up the hill to the plateau and down to the other side.
The ‘stories’ contained in this volume developed during a dark chapter in my life. Looking back, these experiences provided strength and renewed faith in my God and shaped the man I am today.
Without getting dirty, a man cannot become truly clean.
