Black Country Tales A collection of short stories by Carl Owen. Set amongst modern day life in the Black Country, West Midlands. Here are twelve short stories all based around average people who live in the semi-rural middle England. Far away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities like London, Birmingham and Manchester. They are different types of people but all experience stories of love, loss and loneliness as they get on with living in a place that doesn't offer many possibilities.
