Having fun with educational games
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Games are a very important part of the development of psychological, motor, autonomy, and the social integration capacities of children, as they are resources for motivation - that raise interest and participation as well as integration into the group- and a meaningful learning that leads us to a communicative knowledge of a foreign language.
We can define games as activities that contain rules and norms, a clear aim and joyful component. In general, we can say that there are two types of games: those with linguistic purposes and those with communicative purposes. Both can be developed in a competitive or co-operative way. In the first one, players, individually or in groups, participate to be the first ones in obtaining the goal. In the second, players individually or in a group, work collectively to get a common goal.
