For longer than she cares to admit, Carol AKA The Nice Lady has been selling her jewelry at local and regional art shows, on eBay and Etsy, from her studio, and in other art and craft forums. She also spent nine years with Sarah Center, an inner-city ministry. She developed classes and taught women how to create and market jewelry for supplemental income. Carol has always steered her students away from kits, and DIY instructions. She motivated them to think and create like artists. She helped them develop their images and taught them to create home-based craft businesses. The Nice Lady realizes that the world doesn't need another book of jewelry-making techniques. Instead, she shares the jewelry-making experiences and philosophies that helped an inner-city ministry grow from a fledgling jewelry program to a thriving cooperative.
