BITTER ROYAL SCORN If truth disappoints or makes us uncomfortable, we don’t blame the truth, that’s what they say. In its first dimension, this tale appears to be about romance gone bad, love unrequited, some personal tragedies or petty squabbles present in all cultures. But it is more than that, isn’t it? On second dimension, it’s a story about a historic kingdom that almost was lost. Lost to no other than a monstrous enemy called hate. In third dimension, where the hate is distilled from simple words spoken over a calabash of wine, it is about power. In its fourth dimension, it’s always never about other people and their forbidden acts, is it? But the few taboo words, deliberately spewed, which drives each of us involved into our hidden nature. In the fifth dimension, we find many things concealed, whether in scrolls or nature, soon, it’s acted out upon the stage of life! In the sixth, who is to blame must be resolved. If we blame our truth, what about the lie that made us comfortable despite the truth? In a seventh and final is a mythical dimension, it seems there are stranger hands, behind the curtains of time, driving these foibles into us and us into follies. How true is that?
