Treasury of C.F.W. Walther : Volume V :Repentance And Faith, Preparation for the Feast in Heaven and on Earth

Here are Confessional Addresses and Sermons for Days of Repentance of C.F.W. Walther, first president of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. These will seem strangest to the modern reader, since we don't do this much anymore. Is Walther's concern for faith and sanctification pietism, or is Walther actually commending a right, Biblical use of a Sacrament instituted solely for the Sanctification of the faithful, which is so missused and abused in our day Read and decide. And let's act if appropriate!

His first project was 'Taegliche Andachten' taken from an 1884, fourth edition, a daily reading in Luther edited by Georg Link.
