Legendary stories of awesomeness about a badass man - my father. Plane crashes. Cuban Missile Crisis. Black Militants. Pop ran into all of these things and more in life. His reaction? He wanted ice cream. You felt sorry for the planes, nuclear warheads or anything else that was foolish enough to come between Pop and his ice cream. My father was one of the warmest, caring, loving human beings who has ever walked this earth. When you received a hug from my father, you knew it was something special.
