The Legends of Evergreen

Sir Audric, a Chivalrous Knight from the kingdom of Evergreen, returns to his homeland after years of soul-searching abroad. Finding shelter during a stormy-evening at the home of his beloved, Carina, he discovers that only her elderly-father Godfrey, whose memory continues to fade, still residing in the familiar chalet-home Audric had visited throughout his childhood. The knight regales his story to Godfrey of the day Carina was taken from him by Baron Vinn of Cascadia, being thrust into a foreign war by his father to pursue his completion of training in becoming a knight, and returning to Evergreen to aid in his own country’s war against its rival kingdom of Cascadia; fueled and motivated by his unbending faith in one day finding his love and rescue Carina from the clutches of Baron Vinn. After telling Godfrey his story, Audric must now explain to his beloved’s father his reasons for abruptly leaving the kingdom at the end of the wars, as well as the true purpose of his return.
