The Simple Gospel

To become a Christian involves a few simple steps; it doesn’t require a high IQ or even good character. All it takes is honesty with oneself, and the faith to see the truth. <br><br> This little study goes through the very basics of what one needs to see in order to become saved from sin and death. Not everyone will see it — only those whose eyes and heart God opens to his Word can see it. But it will mean the difference between eternal life and death on Judgment Day. <br><br> Once a person becomes a Christian, there will be a few issues to deal with, such as what to pray for, what Jesus wants of them, what exactly will please the Father in Heaven, and a few other important and useful matters. All those answers and more are to be found in the Old Testament — which the Apostle Paul tells us is the textbook for our Christian faith. <br><br>
