Dick Turpin flees to France in order to escape George II’s Royal Dragoons who are scouring the roads of England looking for him. Turpin and his friends have been in France only a few days when he kills a French aristocrat in a duel. After various adventures, including an exchange of bullets with a troop of French cavalry, Turpin manages to reach Paris safely, where he is welcomed warmly by Bonnie Prince Charlie.
