間道　Aimichi

The pathway through which the gods pass during the "Honden Senzasai" at Kasuga Shrine. From the south gate of Kasuga Taisha to Wakamiya Shrine, a 100-meter path lined with stone lanterns. During the gods' relocation, the pathway, enveloped in voices, evokes a sense of transcendence beyond the human realm. I created a path of sound that aims to express a voice reaching out to the angels. The imbalance between the koto strings and the dissonance of the tones express the beauty of nature.
