Energy is a divine economy. We all have energy. But no matter how small your energy is, don’t give it to things that should not take it, not even to thought. Energy cannot achieve much when it is scattered. We are not meant to do everything. Neither are we meant to work every work. We are on earth solely to accomplish the assignment of our lives. God only gives us grace to accomplish the assignment of our lives. The only approved work for us is the assignment of our second person. The assignment of our second person is the assignment of our lives which is our purpose. But we cannot fulfill the purpose of our lives without vision. It is vision that tells you your purpose. Vision helps you identify your primary value and depend on discipline to strengthen you for accomplishment. Regardless, men will lack the energy to accomplish a visionary purpose when their attention is scattered. If people understand how evil distraction and confusion are, they won’t waste their time on frivolous activities. The evil of confusion is what introduces mistakes that steal one’s years. Although there is a place for mistakes for proper growth, some mistakes are completely avoidable. Those avoidable mistakes are the ones that steal one’s years. When one keeps making avoidable mistakes, they keep starting afresh, thereby, losing their years. Nonetheless, we can turn the negatives into positives. Wounds can become an experience. Failure can become a lesson. Nothing is completely negative. Everything given to man is to achieve a purpose. The negative is used to perfect the positive but, we have to first, identify the negative. And that negative is usually in us not from outside. The outside is just a reflection of what happened inside. So if you don't like what is happening to you, the first place to look is within.
