This spiral-bound journal is designed as a guide for twelve months of prayer and discipleship of your children. In the top right corner of the weekly discipleship page, there is place for you to write in the truth you are focused on with your child for the current week. This may be a spiritual truth (such as God’s love, our need for salvation, etc.) or a practical truth (such as the importance of honesty, kindness, etc.) Next to that, you’ll find a place to write the Scriptural foundation for the truth you are emphasizing. In the back of the journal, you’ll find a list of Guiding Scriptures to choose from. Feel free to use these or any other passages God leads you to. The Guiding Scriptures you choose should help direct your prayers and discipleship for each week. Below the priority truth and Scripture you listed, you can write down ways your family can live these out in daily life as well as specific ways you can set an example as a parent. Then, there is a place to list how you can encourage your child in these areas. At the bottom, you’ll find a spot to record the victories you want to celebrate and give thanks for. These are instances of growth and progress evident as you see your child being changed by the truths you are instilling. There is also a space to record challenges your child continues to face in walking in God’s ways. Opposite to each weekly discipleship guide, there is a page for all the notes you want to make about your observations, thoughts, and ideas as you pray for and disciple your child.
