Inspired Poet

The following poems that I have written were composed to elaborate on the environment in which I was living. While attending Shorewood High School, I wrote these poems in my spare time to capture the things I have seen walking around the campus and within the community. Most of the poems I wrote before my eighteenth birthday. In my senior year approaching graduation, I decided that I wanted to take my body of work and get it published. Doing so,I found a publisher who introduced me to a company that helps artist publish their own work.Later, The Inspired Poet was composed and I found a way to share with people my most inner thoughts as a poet. In the future, I plan to continue writing poetry in hopes that I might get published in magazines and perhaps create more books that will contain my work.In the future I hope that I could be mentioned amongst other poets such Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni, and other poets that have contributed to the beautiful world of poetry.
